Mayor of Dartford visits DGGS Librarians

It was such a pleasure to welcome the Worshipful Mayor and Mayoress of Dartford to our volunteer librarian lunch. 

The lunch was to recognise the volunteering achievements of the librarians together with welcoming them back to their volunteer role.  The Mayor presented each student with a bronze, silver or gold certificate.  Two students were also presented with their librarian badge.  After the awards, the Mayor said a few words to the students praising them for their commitment to the role.  We then went on to share a lovely lunch.
