Very many congratulations to our GCSE and A Level students!

Very many congratulations to all our students who have received their GCSE, A Level or other Level 3 qualification results. This year, following the cancellation of exams, grades were awarded through a process of teacher assessed grades, against a national standard and approved and awarded by the exam boards. The government is not publishing performance data for any schools or colleges this year due to the varying impact of the pandemic.

At DGGS students worked incredibly hard and showed great determination to do their very best throughout their studies, and they achieved excellent results. This is especially impressive after two difficult and disrupted years of education.

At GCSE, students are now able to begin the next exciting stage of their lives with post-16 education and we are delighted with the high number of students choosing to continue to study A Levels in our Sixth Form.

At A Level, an exceptional number of students have been able to secure their first-choice place at university, college or employment.  This includes Oxford and Cambridge, the top Russell Group universities and the most competitive courses, such as medicine, veterinary science and dentistry, despite the great competition for places for all students nationally.

We are extremely proud of the students; their successes are thoroughly deserved. We wish all our students the very best of luck in their future endeavours.
