Year 7 Art "Lockdown Still Life" Drawing Competition

For the last 3 lessons of the year, Year 7 took part in a drawing competition whereby they had to create their own ‘Lockdown Still Life’ arrangement aiming to use objects in their home which represented aspects of what lockdown life looked like for them.

For the competition, students drew their still life, trying to be as accurate as possible adding lots of tone and texture with pencil.

The Art department wishes to thank everyone for all their efforts in taking part. We received some excellent entries which made our judging very difficult, however the following students were selected as winners:

Year 7 Overall winner - Sereena 7C for her fabulous and detailed drawing - very well done!
