Essay Writing Competition Success

What Christmas Means To…..us as a school

Although Christmas now seems but a distant memory, two of our students are still reaping the rewards of their success in winning joint first prize in the essay-writing competition ‘What Christmas Means To Me’. Deborah 7K and Ife 9L were presented with £200 Amazon vouchers each on Friday 8th February by World Mission Agency – Winners Chapel International who set up the competition and provided the generous prizes as part of their aim to serve the local community. In addition to their personal prizes, the school was also awarded £1200 towards books for the library.

Deborah, Ife and their families were delighted to be invited to the church in Dartford to receive their prizes and to meet Resident Pastor Nathaniel Odin and CDC Chairman Mr Ajiri Esalomi who congratulated them on their success and encouraged them to enter future competitions.
