Spelling Bee
Congratulations to Sanchi Joshi, 7H and May Bui, 8P, winners of the first Inter-House Spelling Bee competition held in January. All Year 7 and 8 students took part in the first round of the competition to select a winner from their tutor group to compete in the final. The finals were then held in the library on Friday 8th and 15th January with a supportive audience of Year 7 and 8 students. Aderayo Adegbite, 7L and Kiera Seal, 8I were very close runners-up. Sanchi and May have won 100 House Points for Hever and Penshurst while Aderayo and Kiera have won 50 House Points for Leeds and Ightham!
Well done to all the finalists who took part and special thanks to Mrs Buckingham and Kalyani Kangasuthan, 13A for their much appreciated help in organising the finals.
