Teacher Training

We have a proud tradition of training new teachers to the profession and have successfully worked with 'associate teachers' across many faculty areas throughout the years. Associate teachers are always invited to attend our many in-house professional development sessions and are encouraged to immerse themselves thoroughly in the life of the school; for example, shadowing Form Tutors, attending Parent Consultation meetings and going on trips. Associate teachers complete their training as confident practitioners, ready to embark on their ECT years.

We are always interested to hear from people who are considering training, and can usually offer you time within your chosen faculty area(s) to get a flavour of life at our school.
