GCSE

Students in Year 11 once again achieved superb GCSE results. Every student in the year group obtained at least 5 A*-C grades including English and Maths, which is a fantastic achievement. Over 72% of students gained at least 3 A*/A grades with 18 students achieving at least 10 A* grades.
Students in Year 10 were also extremely successful; all students gained a GCSE in Science and over 57% of the year group achieved either a grade A* or A grade.

 AS and A Level

A level and AS students at DGGS obtained another set of excellent results this year, including twelve students who achieved straight As in their A levels. Particular successes included Lyndsey Hogg, who will be taking up her place at Cambridge after achieving five grade As at A level and 3 grade As at AS level. Geetanjali Mukherjee has obtained a place at a top Medical School after achieving straight As and two sisters, Rosemary and Emily Redding both obtained all A grades, one at A level and the other at AS level.
Georgina Anderson achieved straight As in her Alevels and this included a grade A in Environmental Studies which she completed independently through distance learning.
